"I became involved in a project to fit out a new 70000sq ft warehouse that had been built but not fitted out and SMS had been appointed the principal contractor for M&E Fit Out. Very early in my involvement it became clear that our company had not considered all the elements required which had resulted in a lot of missed elements being omitted from the initial scope of works that SMS had tendered for. We also found that there were opportunities to prepare the building for future growth that had been overlooked at the initial build stage prior to SMS being appointed.
