Case Study Overview

Staffordshire Mechanical Solutions were employed to install mechanical and electrical services to a new Dining Hall and Science Area extension project. 

Mechanical services included, domestic services and drainage, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.  Gas services were installed in science labs'.

Electrical services included, lighting, fire alarm, access control, intruder alarm and CCTV systems.  All necessary data infrastructure was installed together with a Disabled Refuge Intercom System.

The project was completed on budget and ahead of programme.  Project challenges were significant due to continued use and the proximity to students and local residents.
