Case Study Overview

To improve efficiency and to upgrade a very old roof. The existing ventilation system had to be modified to allow the roofing works to proceed. The existing ventilation system was stripped of its old inefficient thermal insulation and local duct work modifications made. Various existing Air Conditioning systems were also removed, to allow the roof works to progress and temporary cooling provided to various internal spaces of the building. On completion of the new roof the duct work was then all re-insulated, 8 floors up!!!!
