Staffordshire Mechanical Solutions, following the completion of a successful Land Rover dealership in Hereford were appointed as the preferred M&E specialist for Festival Place shopping centre, Basingstoke. The shopping centre were undergoing a multimillion pound refurbishment of three main, high footfall customer areas. Working on a live shopping centre presented its own unique challenges such as night shift working and strategically timed deliverlies. Services worked on by SMS include AHU's, new bolier plant, gas distribution, dry riser, warm air heating, feature lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, access control and small power.
