Case Study Overview

Staffordshire Mechanical Solutions were employed as main contractor for the boiler room upgrade works at Cromwell Junior and Infants School.

The project was particularly challenging as the existing boilers and plant were located in a basement plant room below the school. The existing plant was broken down in smaller sections and specialist lifting gear was used to remove the items safely.

600kW of new energy efficient boiler plant was then carefully manoeuvred into the same space and connected to the existing system. SMS’s works include all H&S as main contractor and mechanical, electrical and energy controls.
