Case Study Overview

A state of the art, bespoke Ventilation system has been installed in the new high risk egg processing facility at Bumble Hole Foods, Bromsgrove. SMS were appointed as principal contractor to deliver the extension works to the existing facility. 

Chilled water provided by DX chillers serve the new air-handling plant, and ductwork serves filtered and conditioned air to the egg processing facility. Due to the space requirements the supply air was filtered to an F9 standard, air distributed from the thermally adjustable swirl diffusers helps to ensure the space temperature is maintained at a consistent 6 degrees. Air pressure stabilisers ensured the different areas maintained the pressure gradient across various rooms. New domestic services were installed in a stainless steel press-fit pipe work systems to various wash down facilities.
